Help us see the able, not the label.

The Bill and Betsy Scheben Care Center, part of family of The Point/Arc of Northern Kentucky, is dedicated to the mission of helping adults with disabilities maintain their ability to function in the home and the community. We also provide respite for families and caregivers to reduce the physical, emotional and financial stress experienced during long-term care.

We want to help our clients achieve lifetime abilities. We do this by providing excellent medical rehabilitative and social services to meet the individual needs of each of our clients.

Our Center serves persons over 16 years of age who have medical, physical, social, and/or cognitive disabilities. Our service area includes Northern Kentucky and the surrounding counties. Approximately 98% of the individuals we serve are funded by a Medicaid Waiver. We have been providing medical model adult day care since 1980 and since then, Medicaid has only increased reimbursement rates by 2%. As you can imagine, the cost of daily care continues to rise and our Center works annually to offset any losses by various charity events and fundraising campaigns. That is why we need your help!

This is one of those campaigns!

We are raising funds to support the opportunities that our center gives those we serve. Medicaid may cover a portion of the cost of a person attending our center, however it doesn't cover the community outings we provide, the educational services that are offered, or the resources it takes to achieve supportive person centered health care.

Donate to our center today and help us continue to see the able and not the lable!
